The work, duties and powers of the Directorate of Planning, Coordination and Academic Development shall be as follows: No
(a) To carry out work related to the annual plan and program formulation of the Commission (b) To carry out periodic assessment, projection and planning of supply of manpower required for the national health service and medical education system,
(c) To coordinate with health institutions and educational institutions for the supply and utilization of manpower related to medical education according to the approved plan (d) Conducting necessary studies, research and promotion for improving the quality of medical education,
(e) To work on the development and use of information technology used for medical education,
(f) Formulate the master plan of medical education and submit it to the committee (g) To carry out or cause monitoring and evaluation activities,
(h) To implement the decisions of the commission and committee.
